The Tee Groups Guide
Tee Groups keeps your golf crew in one place: your tee times, who’s in, and a group chat. It works in any browser on your phone or computer at teesniper.club, and you can add it to your home screen like an app.
Using Tee Sniper too? Connect the two and every tee time Tee Sniper books is added to your group automatically. How to connect them · Tee Sniper guide

Quick start (3 minutes)
- Go to teesniper.club and choose Create account. Enter your name, email and a password, then click the link in the verification email (check spam if it hasn’t arrived).
- Sign in. Your dashboard says Your Groups.
- Start a group with Create a new group, or join one with the 8-character invite code a friend sent you.
- Open the group and add a tee time, or let Tee Sniper add them for you (see below).
- Everyone taps I’m in or I’m out. Done. ✅
If you see a Continue with Google button, you can use that instead of a password.
Groups
Start a group
On your dashboard, fill in Create a new group: a group name (for your regular foursome or golf crew), an optional description, and the course you usually play. Click Create group. You’re its admin.
Invite your crew
Open the group. Its invite code is at the top. Tap the copy button and send it by text or email. Anyone in the group can see and share the code.
Join a group
On your dashboard, enter the 8-character invite code under Join a group and click Join group.
| Who | Can do |
|---|---|
| Everyone | See and share the invite code, add and answer tee times, chat, and Leave group (you can rejoin later with the invite code). The only member can’t leave (delete the group instead), and neither can the only admin while others are still in it. |
| Group admins | Also Generate new code for invites (the old one stops working), remove a member (their account and tee times are kept), and Delete group, which removes its tee times, chat and members list for everyone and can’t be undone. |
Each group has three tabs: Tee Times, Members and Chat.
Tee times
In a group’s Tee Times tab, click Add tee time and fill in:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Course, date, time | Required. The time is the course’s local time. |
| Timezone | The course’s time zone: Pacific, Mountain, Eastern or Atlantic. |
| Players | Names, separated by commas. |
| Status | Booked, Tentative or Looking for players. |
| Notes | Anything else: cart included, early tee off, who’s driving. |
To change one later, use Edit tee time. If a round falls through, choose Mark as cancelled: it shows in red for 2 days (or until its date passes), then drops off the list, so everyone sees it’s off. Delete tee time removes it straight away.
I’m in / I’m out
Every tee time has two buttons. Tap I’m in or I’m out; tap the same one again to clear your answer. The card shows how many are in and who. Try it:
A look-alike for practice. Nothing here is saved.
Group chat
Open the group’s Chat tab and type in Message the group. You can also:
- Reply to one message, so it’s clear what you’re answering.
- React with 👍⛳😂❤️🔥. Tap a reaction again to remove yours.
- Edit your own message for 15 minutes after sending, or delete it for everyone.
New tee times, cancellations and who’s in show up in the chat too, so the crew can react to them.
Email alerts
Each group has two email switches, both your own choice:
| Switch | Where | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Email me about new and cancelled tee times | Tee Times tab | An email when someone adds or cancels a tee time. Not for the ones you add yourself. |
| Email me message digests | Chat tab | A short email of new chat messages, so you don’t miss the plan. |
Not getting them? Check your spam folder, and that the switch is on in that group. To change your name, email or password, open My Profile from Your account.
Put it on your home screen
Tee Groups opens like an app, one tap away. It takes about 10 seconds:
- iPhone (Safari): tap the Share button, scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Android or a computer (Chrome, Edge): tap Install when the dashboard offers it, or open the browser menu (⋮) and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
Connect Tee Sniper
Connect once, and every tee time Tee Sniper books is added to Tee Groups by itself, with the course, date, time and number of players filled in.
In Tee Groups
- On your dashboard, find the Tee Sniper card.
- Under Where should new bookings go?, pick a group, or My inbox (I’ll choose each time).
- Click Connect Tee Sniper. Your connection code appears once, so click Copy straight away.
In Tee Sniper
- Open your course’s booking page and the Tee Sniper panel (refresh the page if you don’t see it).
- Paste the code into Tee Groups code (optional) and click Connect.
- The line underneath now says Connected (code ending …) and where bookings go. ✅
After you’re connected
- Bookings sent to a group appear in its Tee Times tab, and the group chat says it was booked with Tee Sniper.
- Bookings sent to your inbox wait on the dashboard’s Tee Sniper card. Choose a group and click Add to group. If a similar tee time is already there, it asks you to check first, so nothing gets added twice.
- Change where bookings go any time with New bookings go to on the same card.
- New code makes a fresh code; the old one stops working until you paste the new one into Tee Sniper. Disconnect stops bookings being added.
Not connected? Add one booking by hand
After a booking, the Tee Sniper panel shows Add booking to Tee Groups. Click it, and Tee Groups opens with the details filled in. Check them, choose a group and players, and click Confirm and add booking.
Common questions
I lost my connection code.
It’s only shown once. Click New code on the Tee Sniper card in Tee Groups and paste the new one into Tee Sniper.
Tee Sniper booked a round but it’s not in Tee Groups.
Look at the Tee Groups code line in the Tee Sniper panel. If Tee Groups couldn’t be reached, Tee Sniper keeps trying for up to 7 days. If it says Not sent, it lists the booking so you can add it yourself. If it says Tee Groups no longer accepts the code, make a new code and connect again. Also check your inbox on the dashboard, in case bookings go there.
Does Tee Groups book tee times?
No. Tee Groups is where your crew plans and keeps track. Booking is Tee Sniper’s job, on your course’s own booking site. See the Tee Sniper guide.
Can my friends use Tee Groups without Tee Sniper?
Yes. Anyone can make an account, join with your invite code, add tee times by hand, answer and chat.
Something isn’t working.
Email support@teesniper.app with what you tried and what you saw. A human (William) reads these, usually the same day. Never include your connection code or password.
